			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A key difference between VHS and DVD is that when a DVD ends, it returns to the main menu where a 60-second music clip repeats again and again. If you were a teenager during the age of DVDs, chances are you&#8217;ve experienced making out with someone while the same jaunty little ditty looped endlessly in the background.</p>
<p>As annoying as this can be, it&#8217;s infinitely better than the sound of a clunky VCR trying to rewind a tape. No wonder grunge kids in the early 90s seemed so pissed.</p>
